Miranda Camp
She/They
Miranda Camp is a senior electronic journalism student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Her goal is to continue sharing the unheard voices of her community through audio storytelling. She is currently a freelance reporter with works published in Watermark Media, and she is the president of the UCF campus chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. Miranda is from Rome, New York, and feels most at home when she’s eating chicken riggies and Utica greens.

Sophie Diaz
She/Her
Sophie Diaz, a student in the electronic journalism program, is in her senior year at the University of Central Florida. Her goal is to tell people’s stories, helping them and others who might relate to them feel less alone. She is currently a reporter for the University of Central Florida’s Knightly News program. Sophie is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, and you can often find her on a run.

Victoria Fonseca
She/Her
Victoria Fonseca is a bilingual multimedia journalist based in Miami who hopes to pursue travel journalism with a focus on international news. She is currently a senior at Florida International University and an undergraduate research fellow for the Podcast Team Department at the Extreme Events Research Center at FIU.
Victoria previously interned for the dean of the College of Communication, Architecture + the Arts (CARTA).
She will graduate from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in digital media and a hospitality minor in travel and tourism in August 2024.

Kayla Kissel
She/Her
Kayla Kissel is a junior at the University of Central Florida. Her passion is broadcast journalism and she hopes to one day work on longform documentaries. In spring of 2024, she will intern as a reporter at 89.7 WUSF, Tampa’s NPR station. Previously, she was a Florida Road Trip production intern at WUCF, Orlando’s PBS station. Kayla is from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and loves to relax with her cats.

Thomas Ouellette

Thomas Ouellette is a recent graduate of the University of South Florida. He loves interesting stories from people you might not have heard of and bringing those stories to life. He’s a freelance reporter for the Osceola News-Gazette and hopes to land a full time reporting job. He previously interned for WUSF in Tampa, Florida.

Kyra Parrow
She/Her
Kyra Parrow is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida. Her mission through journalism is to provide service to her community with storytelling and photography. She’s a freelance writer and photojournalist. Previously she was editor in chief of NSM Today, UCF’s student newspaper. Parrow is based in Orlando, Florida, and can always be found carrying a camera.
